This is only a starting point - not a definitive list. My bookshelves are positively groaning under the weight of books on psychology, brains, hypnosis, NLP and loads more. Audio books are a great way to learn a lot while you drive to your gigs - check out iTunes, Audible.com etc etc!

- "Awaken the Giant Within by Anthony Robbins" An excellent read from a hugely influential self-help / motivational coach. Amazon
- Get The Life You Want by Dr Richard Bandler. Study anything by this man - co-creator of NLP. Amazon
- Dr Richard Bandler's Guide to Trance-Formations. A brilliantly practical way to learn some advanced hypnosis skills from the co-creator of NLP. Amazon
- Self Hypnosis by Valerie Austin. One of my 1st reads on the subject. Very influential. Amazon
- How To Be Brilliant by Michael Heppell. Life-coaching in paperback form! Excellent advice, brilliantly written (Duh, obviously!) Amazon
- Hypnotherapy by Dave Elman. A very important book that every hypnotherapist should read. Amazon
- Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. Ever wondered why we have a subconscious mind and what it tries to tell us sometimes? Read this. Important stuff! Amazon
- Natural Brilliance by Paul R. Scheele. Success, genius, achievement... it's all waiting for you in this book! Amazon
- Learn To Remember by Dominic O'Brien. Turn your rubbish memory into an amazing one! This guy did and has been World Memory Champion many times over. Inspiring techniques Amazon
- Self hypnosis for Musicians by Sam Brown. My CD - does what the title suggests. Use your unconscious to generate the changes you desire. See my website.
There is also a hugely popular film/book/CD set simply called "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne which will lead you to some more fascinating areas you might find very interesting... definitely worth a look/listen.
